I love Torrid

Pros

I started as a part time Assistant manager and within 6 months I moved up to full time. Shortly after I became a temp store manager. The discount is great. The company itself care about employees and makes sure they are taken care of. Benifits/health care is good and affordable

Cons

Pay... and payroll.. associates are UNDERPAID with all the work expected. Managers with previous experience should definitely be paid more than what torrid offers. Payroll is terrible. We NEED MORE HOURS. The amount of things that need to get done in the store DAILY and make sure our clients get the best experience is very difficult. I find my store gets backed up on shipment and cleaning tasks to make sure our clients have a great time and experience. With that being said more hours for more employees to work during the day to make sure the store can be at it's best. Other than that the company is great.

Its a really great experience to work for Torrid and the goal of the company is amazing.

Cons

Being a key holder you're stuck between a sales associate and a manager, even though you're classified as a manager. You do almost everything the store manager does, but get paid like complete garbage.
