Not competitive pay Unsafe working environment

My cons for the company are pretty big sadly. I worked very hard at this company I stayed longer in my shifts, came in on my days off to help with shipment, constantly took other peoples shifts and received no appreciation for it. I applied for the key holder position and was passed up for someone who worked with the company for 2 months when I had been working there for 8 months, after they were promoted I had to train them as a key holder since I already knew the position. The second time I applied I got passed over again for someone who quit the company and came back simply because they had more retail experience again I had to help out with training. I was told I did not get promoted because I did not wear enough makeup and jewelry yet I was the highest seller in the store. I felt no appreciation for the hard work I put into the company and because of that quit working here.
