Pros

Okay benes, coworkers are friends, christmas party, 15% discount, sales bonuses monthly for every position, relaxed dress code, flexible scheduling, unpaid maternity leave

Cons

low pay, long hours, hard physical labor, discrimination company wide, advancement is based on cronyism, incompetent managers, work force is expected to be top notch sales people on a McDonald's pay scale

Pros

Fast paced environment. Different job functions and people were constantly being cross trained. A real opportunity to grow due to their supervisor in training program. Long hours meant decent paychecks. Great people and atmosphere.

Cons

Long hours also meant it was hard to balance home life. Not enough equipment at this fairly new DC. Short staffed. You get tired of seeing your coworkers more than your family.

Pros

Decent pay. Store hours 8am-8pm M-Sat, 9am-7pm sun. Closed on certain holidays. Hard to get in trouble, except if you steal merchandise.

Cons

Overworked. Long hours for Store Manager and Assistant Manager, and only a 30 minute lunch when working less than 12 hours. 30 minutes is NOT long enough of a break when you're busting yourself to work stock. No support from upper management considering how micromanaged they want stores to be (mainly depending on your DM.) Tons of distractions that keep you from successfully completeing your tasks, which can bring some morale down. Not enough payroll to perfectly maintain stores. Assistant manager hours to be cut from an average of 48 hours a week, to 40 hours. Constant district realignment due to opening new stores. Causes great frustration when having to adapt to a new DMs ways. Been with the company for a year and a half, had four different DMs. Could go on and on, but I'll give them a little break.
