The MOST toxic place ever

Pros

Good starting point, a chance to speak English every day

Cons

Absolutely terrible place to work at which will damage your mental health. People that are in the management should have never been allowed to work with people, they have absolutely zero empathy and will scream at their emplyees for whatever. There is no support from management or growth opportunities (and I don't consider adding on more work as learning opportunity). The pay is so low that it is sad that such a huge corporation is paying such a low amount for university graduates. Even if there is a pay raise, it is never guaranteed and you never know if you actually receive it. The management style is horrible, employees shouldn't be scared when their manager texts them, and they shouldn't be scared to ask for ANYTHING. Also, it wouldn't actually hurt to say hi or ask the employees how they're doing. Nepotism is also a huge thing in this office and it is basically impossible to get promoted without bootlicking and being friends with the management.

Pros

TransPerfect is committed to training their staff to become certified interpreters and provide quality interpretation services that stand out from other organizations.

Cons

The experience with HR may vary depending on the country, but this department faces challenges in communicating with their employees effectively. I had issues with my maternity leave and that experience ultimately resulted in me wanting to leave the company. Promotion culture is not necessarily based in the qualifications that employees possess but more so influenced by social settings.

Worst company I've ever worked for

Pros

None - I seriously cannot say anything positive

Cons

The company only cares about making money - they don't care about their clients even less about their employees, they are clearly understaffed but do not make anything to solve it, do not take into account employees wellbeing, I was working in a team of 5 people with about 100 clients, we reached a point where all of the team had burn out, all they would do was fire every person who would burn out and not even find replacements, just add more work to whoever would stay. Worst company ever, no ethic or values whatsoever.
