Pros

- Amazing people who are not in management

Cons

- Unless you're in the same very specific religious social circle management is in, you're treated like you don't matter. - Management insists on being in-office even though they do not lead by example. - The pay: Raises at this company have been frozen for multiple years while LinkedIn posts claim that revenues are at an all-time high. This current raise cycle was supposed to happen in April but nobody has heard any word of it from management, even when asked. - Constant shifting of focus; projects get disrupted due to sudden changes in APIs or we just chase the next shiny object.

Pros

I learned how to multi-task extremely well, I could handle any kind of crisis, I greatly admired my managers who were incredibly intelligent problem solvers, the company has fun opportunities and parties

Cons

I felt left out on my team, the people that were in my office often left my out. My role was extremely stressful to the point that it was not worth it for me, I was always under a lot of pressure to find freelancers for jobs with very limited budgets and short time-lines. The hours were long and inflexible. Ultimately I quit because a policy was put in place that changed the structure of my role from salaried to hourly with a calculation that essentially added up to half the pay you get per hour for each out of over time worked. Everyone works over time as a PM and I found this policy completely against my values. You can make much more working at another company in NYC.

Pros

Not many. They lie to you in the beginning and then decide how they'll treat you based on if they like you.

Cons

They give you an insulting amount of work right from the get go. They pretended the training period work is "standard" but they really just give you mass amounts of small jobs to make the rest of the team's day easier while you're stuck managing a ton of small projects. The culture is very cliquey and if you don't vibe with your boss and trainer your days become very long, lonely, and toxic. I spent almost every day skipping lunch and working late. They don't care how much work you put in they only care if you can handle the work and even if you tell them there isn't enough time they don't care. They just pretend that they've been up front with you and that you should go to them for help, but they never help they just insult you.
