Young atmosphere, lots of structure in terms of job titles and promotions, NYC office is in an amazing location in midtown

Cons

terrible work-life balance, being managed by someone in their twenties is unreasonably challenging, I never left work before 8PM while working there, you are expected to work your tail off until everything on your desk is done each night

Cons

-Pay is ridiculously low for what you do. Only divas tend to make good money here--and only if you've partied enough with upper management. -Training is NON-existent. -Reactive hiring practices (i.e. overworked). -All jobs/performance/etc on the West Coast are invisible to Phil/Liz. Only big promotions happen on East Coast. -You WILL work LONG hours and over weekends. You WILL be very stressed and not have enough support. You WILL NEVER advance enough to call this a long term career.

You get a lot of responsibility, if you like getting loads of work without any clear direction and then being yelled at for mistakes, this is the place for you , you are owning it. congratulations and welcome to the world of mind games at TransPerfect

Cons

Everything about this place is awful. Senior management does not value a single person. There are some in middle management that try to make some changes, but all that effort is shut down by senior managers. Those in power are a rat pack with no clear experience in accomplishing what they ask their people to do
