Pros

Simply put..NONE. TOXIC...Amateur run division of TransPerfect. I can't say there are any "Pros" even from the first day of employment. I immediately saw a highly disorganized division run by ego-minded managers and sales team. Should have walked out on the first day. Will NOT recommend to anyone.

Cons

The environment is TOXIC. Management is thee worst I have ever come across. Absolutely no organization, thoughtfulness, and the inability to produce a healthy working environment. They do not value people but only see $$$. I am one of many that feel this way in this division of TransPerfect. Its time that 360 peer reviews are done on Management and Sales running this group. It is absolutely inexcusable how they treat people on the team. I would NEVER recommend any client jump on a ship with such incompetent, ego-minded leadership team. The ship will sink...

Pros

Brand recognition within their translations services, their legal services division is still a very small player. The company likes to keep talented employees and will shift them around to other departments to try and find the right fit.

Cons

Management team is not experienced in running larger organizations and the are very disorganized. There are no rules of engagement or protocols in place, i.e., different rules for different offices. Sales reps are required to do accounting tasks like bill and collect from their clients -- commissions are not paid out until the full amount of the bill is collected. Most of their sales reps are on a draw so they'll entice you with a $70,000-$90,000 "base salary" that's actually a draw on higher commission %. Management does not track rudimentary KPIs. Poor use of Salesforce. Essentially, this is a pyramid scheme where "managers" (top reps that get promoted) get a team of reps to "manage" but basically they just get a % of their team's sales. Very few people in a leadership position actually have the experience and qualifications to lead or manage a group of people.

Pros

Some of the people you meet are great because when they can, they hire really talented people and there are lots of offices all over the world. When you first interview, everyone puts on a positive face and tries to make it seem like this company is wonderful, even though most people can't stand it.

Cons

EVERYTHING else. This company and the leaders are greedy sales people. If they act like they care about you, it's only because they want to earn more money from you doing their work because they get a cut of everyone's commission. There is no work life balance because they expect work to be your life but you don't get paid for it. There are NO raises and although they are constantly telling people that you can earn big bucks if you work for it, that only applies if you are willing to give up your life or if you happen to be picked as someone's favorite and go along with exactly everything they tell you.
