Pros

Great benefits! Healthcare is great compared to other companies, 401k is average, unlimited FTO (if your manager approves) and good maternity leave.

Cons

There have been many leadership shifts in the past couple of years, this has meant inability to have a long term plan that is communicated to associates. Because of this many of us are left feeling we have no idea how work is going to flow or if our roles will shift. Promotions are also arbitrary-- if your manager tries to help you, you'll have a good change of advancing otherwise you don't have much room to move.

Pros

I've worked at TransUnion for over a year. Things are always busy, but I prefer it that way. I'm relatively early in my career, and with all the growth at TU, I've had so many opportunities to pick up new skills and experiences. That's very valuable to me. Plus, everyone on my team has been so welcoming. People are always willing to answer a questions or lend a helping hand. I've worked at places where young people are ignored, but at TU I really feel like my ideas are making an impact.

Cons

As is the case in any large company, there is a bit of a learning curve when you first join the team. A couple of strong connections in the building can go along why when you're trying to navigate the red tape.

Pros

The company has great benefits and opportunities to network. They continue to come up with new ideas to sell to the market

Cons

Too much focus on achieving milestones for minimally viable products without a focus on quality or long term support of the product

Thank you for dedicating more than 8 years at TU! I'm happy to see that you are enjoying our benefits and opportunities to connect with other associates. To hear you feel that we’re missing the mark on delivering quality products is concerning – this goes against everything we stand for at TransUnion. I would really like to hear more about your experience here, so I can share your feedback with my fellow peers on the leadership team. Please reach out to me directly. - Anne Leyden, EVP HR
