Pros

Starting pay and benefits are good.... PTO time is good but everything is rolled in vaca, sick, personal so it's very misleading, good place to start a career

Cons

Talk about being burnt out..... After a year you probably will be a nervous wreck and management doesn't care to help. Yes it's auto and yes it is busy but on top of that there is so many little things they want that have no bearing on how a claim is resolved like capturing email it's unbelievable and you are micromanaged to death... This place is fine to launch a career but you can not stay here your just a number and after a year you'll feel like your drowning which is why I left and couldn't be happier. Management has no clue what the front line forces go through... You though coming in on a Monday for any job was bad... Try working at this place. It's insurance... We're not superheroes

Pros

Job stability. Financially sound company

Cons

Too conservative. Too much red tape and politics. Lots of micromanaging. Don't pay well. Give you little authority. Horrible bonuses. Little room to move up. Just a number. Don't care about employees. TRV cares more about their shareholders.
