Pros

None! I wouldn’t recommend this place to an enemy.

Cons

If you are a Claim Adjuster, I strongly implore you to consider against working at Travelers. They basically lie to you about bonuses, salary, work from home options, and hours that you are required to work. You are told during orientation that if you call in sick or your children are sick it counts as an “incident” and it’s not an acceptable way to use your PTO. They basically have an old school mentally of coming in early and working late for no reason what so ever. If you are a “work smarter not harder” person, this is not the environment for you. If you want any work/life balance, Travelers is not for you. There also seems to be limited positions for women. It’s mostly men. It is not an environment conducive for a career minded family person. Apply elsewhere!!!

Pros

If your manager is fair, it can be a fun and profitable place to work. Most managers do not fall into this category

Cons

Many of the managers are just out for themselves and don't really care about the people who work for them. Management is more concerned with shareholders and upper management than the average employee.

Pros

It's great that they have Flexible Work Arrangements/ Work from home 3 days a week.

Cons

Management doesn't allow employees to work up to their potential. Too many micromanage their workers. Nothing you do in claims is ever good enough. No appreciation or value for the work you contribute.
