Pros

Trident has no pros at all unless you like free food on a Friday.

Cons

Where to start, Trident has to be the worst company I’ve ever worked for. Trident don’t work with you to progress onto the next job role, instead they talk about it and that’s about it but then promote others that have been there for less time and people that you’ve actually helped to train and generally helped. TRIDENT IGNORE MENTAL HEALTH I had a meeting with my line manager and I raised to her that my mental was being in effected and he seemed to listen until my next meeting with and my supervisor and he denied all recognition of our previous conversation and then the following week Trident said to the company that they was going to be making people aware of mental health and how to spot it etc but when speaking with one of the directors I asked why this had been over looked and she replied and said that since nobody saw any signs or raised any concerns that’s “probably” the reason why my manage over looked this. What sort of company over looks mental health and then says they want to raise mental health awareness. One of Trident’s values was “Don’t let down a colleague, do something to help” I constantly helped my team members and then I got told that I shouldn’t be helping others, this doesn’t make any sense, does Trident not stick to their CORE VALUES, no they don’t.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We have made mental health a major focus area in Trident and we are working in partnership with Mind to continuously improve the support and provision for our people. In addition to awareness training we now have a team of trained mental health first aiders which we will be expanding across the company. “Don’t let down a colleague, do something to help” has always been one of our core values and we are all trying to live up to that everyday. Pros

Most staff at the company are generally welcoming. There is always an event or treat to look forward to and the company even provide volunteer opportunities to help with local charities. The training provided is very thorough and helpful.

Cons

Unfortunately my last few months are Trident were made miserable. A new manager started and she immediately took a disliking to myself. During education and previous jobs I have not once found myself in trouble and employers have been impressed with my enthusiasm and work ethic. However, at Trident I was made to feel like a criminal; accused of things I had not done and when seeking help/advise from other management I was informed that she was simply having 'a bad day'. I feel absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated and spoken to. My motivation for the job completely deteriorated. Even my colleges around me noticed the unfair treatment and clear dislike she displayed towards me. Since she started at Trident I no longer felt like I had an enjoyable job; it made me dread coming into work and due to her status and lack of a HR manager I felt like there was no one I could comfortably talk to. Ultimately this has stained Trident's reputation.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for recognising the positive aspects of your experience at Trident. I am sorry to hear of your experience in your last few months and am concerned that you did not feel there was someone you could comfortably talk to. Our aim is to be a company that our people love to work for. To be that, across our leadership team, we have an open door policy and welcome conversations at any time so I am disappointed that you did not feel you could approach one of us, with your concerns. Your feedback is appreciated and we will do all we can to learn from it, as we continue to invest in our people and our culture, to ensure Trident is a company that people love to work for.
