      Pros

      Management actually treats you like family and cares about your family. The pay is excellent and the job is very rewarding if you work hard. The atmosphere is very professional and enjoyable. Everyone is approachable from the CEO on down.

      Cons

      The commute can be tough if you live outside of Reston. The work is challenging so you have to be ready to roll up your sleeves and work.

      Pros

      Open collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged. Quality is a high priority. Company leadership is involved at every level. Individual contributers are encouraged to strech their skill set while learning new technologies. The comapany provides the proper amount of resources and personnel to accomplish the mission.

      Cons

      Rotational deployments for project personnel can be difficult. The company operates in austere environments throughout the world.

      Change for the Worse

      Pros

      Monthly hot breakfasts and bagels every Friday. You can wear casual clothes to work (jeans and a nice shirt). It's easy to find parking and parking is free. Decent benefits.

      Cons

      Management doesn't seem to care as much about compliance as they used to. Don't have as many contracts as they used to. Layoffs not handled well, especially with how they handled laying off people that had been loyal to the company for years. It seems BD runs their proposals rather than an actual proposal group having final say, which even with their BD/proposal group, it's like the blind leading the blind. This long beard BD guy is incompetent, but he gets away with it because he's one of the Delta group. Less focus on caring about their employees and care more about making money, though don't put their best foot forward, especially with the draw down overseas. Company is made up of a lot of old Delta guys and retired military, so cursing and dealing with people that are rough around the edges is part of the company culture.
