Pros

Weekly paychecks-you can wear jeans on Friday's -work hrs are 12-9 pm for those who don't want 8-5 work shifts

Cons

They expect more and more from you everyday-you add 2 things they want 4 - you wind up working 6 days a week sometimes on short notice, like on a Friday

Pros

Plenty of overtime for those willing to do it

Cons

Safety is the least of anyones concern. Managers will drain spilled pesticide out of truck beds barehanded. If the branch runs out of PPE you're expected to go without. Guys with glasses are rarely given correct over-the-glasses eye protection. We are expected to complete X amount of stops within a certain amount of time without any margin to talk to customers, who need a lot of guidance and themselves deserve better service without rushed strangers running in and out of their lawns due to time crunch. Trucks are in constant disrepair along with most of the equipment. High turn over with quick and poor quality training considering the volatility of the materials that are being used. Unfortunate to say as well, but this is not a good place to work if you are a woman and I'm not sensitive by a long shot. I'll simply leave it at that.

Pros

PTO, Team Leads are extremely nice and helpful, work from home

Cons

Extremely low wages for the amount of work, no flexibility, minuscule raises (if any at all), you are expected to lie to customers to "save". The position is about 90% retention and 10% helping with other customer issues. They will send emails to your entire team with the report of your scores in terms of retention, call times, break times, etc, which is not good for morale. The most stressful job I have ever had and I've worked fast food. If you're on calls, you get 30-second breaks in between (I've actually had that cut short before!!!) and if you're on chats, it's 3 at a time, which is extremely difficult to manage, especially when all 3 are cancels (happens often). A lot of co-workers (sales reps, techs, other CSRs) are dishonest, so if you're an honest person you have to take the punishment for their dishonesty. I get at least 1-2 customers a day who have requested cancellations multiple times without having their accounts canceled. Techs frequently leave the paperwork on doors without servicing (likely due to being overworked as well). Overall, this job will suck the soul out of you, and make you a number in their system so they can make more money, with what might as well be negative compensation, considering I had to start therapy again after this job.
