Pros

TruGreen offers thorough training with ample time to learn and practice with coworkers, a clear progression from outbound to inbound roles, and a solid commission structure that adds to the hourly pay, making it a great entry point into sales.

Cons

The role involves constant phone calls, frequent interactions with frustrated customers due to service issues, and a lack of structure, often requiring you to handle problems outside your role because of customer service backlogs.

Thank you for sharing your previous experience with TruGreen. We're glad to hear you found value in our training program and appreciated the structured progression and commission opportunities, it's great to know it served as a strong entry point into sales for you. We understand the challenges that can come with a high volume of calls and addressing customer concerns, especially when service issues arise. We're actively working on improving our internal processes and support systems to reduce backlog and better align responsibilities across teams. Your feedback is truly appreciated and helps guide our efforts to create a more efficient and supportive work environment. Toxic and Stressful Work Culture

Pros

Remote work for recruiters Decent sourcing and recruitment tools

Cons

Low-vibrational managers and team leads who ridicule and unnecessarily micromanage their teams for sport Low morale across every recruitment team - lack of motivation and overall burnout that has resulted in illness for some Poor training and treatment of temporary employees - major scapegoating by inept managers who lack leadership and shouldn't be in the role. Top leadership cares more about a PGA partnership because they're the only people who can afford to golf. Unachievable bonus structure for full-time employees. How do you retain hires when your company's reputation is in the toilet? Lower than market pay rates for some of the regions we recruit for - not competitive at all Nearly every recruiter works after hours and on weekends to meet weekly offer goals and ensure new hires show up for their start dates. Remote work does not equate to work-life balance. Apathetic work culture - employees shouldn't experience nervous breakdowns before, during, and after work hours.

Pros

High quality waterproof boots included.

Cons

Micromanaged, management lacks integrity, they work you like a rented mule, mandatory overtime ( like 55hrs/wk + Saturdays) and an unwillingness to allow employees to take personal time off, like for Doctor's appointments. Management is really unconcerned about the employees and view them as disposable. This is the worst job I have EVER had. ZERO work life balance.
