1. My manager did not have the traits of someone who is meant to be a leader. I’ve never felt like a burden at a job before this one. Every time any of the female employees and myself opened our mouths, our manager had an issue. The constant passive aggressive remarks and attitude towards only the 4 female employees was unacceptable. 2. The focus cannot be revenue and making sales. You do need to care about your employees as well. Employee wellness was a foreign concept. I was terminated because I required accommodations for short term doctors appointments and was told that TG doesn’t do that. TG, legally, doesn’t have that option. You as an entity are required by law to accommodate me medically. Point blank. 3. Management cannot retain employees at the branch. The training classes always starts off with 11-15 reps and by the time they’re able to hit the field there’s only about 5 left and that’s not an exaggeration. That’s 3 observations and information I was told from the reps that have been there for longer. You shouldn’t be in management if you can’t retain employees. 4. Management had no idea how to effectively communicate and we (the women) were expected to read his mind instead. Maybe try using your words. 5. The wage is completely misleading on the application and on the website. A total joke. You won’t get paid your first week of training. 6. You will be expected to work on Saturdays because who needs work life balance when you could be making Trugreen money. You’ll also be strongly advised by the RSM to work past your hours. I’m sure I have more reasons why this was an awful job but those were the big ones. What an awful company.
