Pros

People that were hired with me were good people but they felt defeated as soon as they walked in the door.

Cons

Encourage dishonesty to sell. Management dishonest and poor training. Revolving door hiring. Only the dishonest old salespeople survive.

Pros

As a technician for this company for many years, I can say Trugreen is not for everybody. You have to be dedicated in not only servicing customers, but you must extend yourself in selling to customers. I have found that if you commit yourself to both, you will find yourself generously compensated and fulfilled in what you do.

Cons

The primary challenge is figuring out how to make ends meet during seasonal(winter) lay off period. Trugreen could do a better job in this department.

Pros

Coworkers are awesome and work to help each other

Cons

Being tied to a phone to the point that you can't use the bathroom or get something to drink unless you are on break or lunch. If you do you're out of adherance and get told about it. Constant sales even though you are not a sales person. If someone calls to cancel service you have to "save" the account by offering discounts. People are cancelling for a reason and get very upset when you try to "probe" into why, which is what management wants. Phone calls are constantly monitored and graded. If you don't do 1 thing right you fail MAJOR micro-management in all aspects. Hours offered at time of interview are not what you get when you start. They change your shift constantly. Pay is minimal for what they expect you to do to keep a customer and the amount of work you have to put into the day. This is seasonal work and they do not tell you that in the interview. All they care about it staffing and nothing more. If you need help with something don't ask someone who's been there over 10 yrs. They cop an attitude and complaint about you.
