Pros

Make great relationships with customers. Be outdoors and never bored.

Cons

Work Mon-Sat sometimes 9am to 11pm, but regular hours were 11am-11pm and being paid at a 40 hour salary. Do lots of travel for the company but the always dispute your mileage reimbursement when they are the ones that send you out there. Constantly lied to by managers to motivate you to do something but they never hold there word on their promises. Also they force you into lying to your customers.

Pros

- Hopefully in a few years, TruGreen will be bankrupt. -Good pay at peak seasons - Paid weekly

Cons

- A sales person has 0 say. Cannot change anything, cannot do anything, can't access any information. All you do is call and harrass customers. You cannot make service calls, check bill, take payments, or do ANYTHING besides sell. - Customers are harassed and lied to on a daily basis. - You are told to sell the product by any means necessary, because everybody needs TruGreen's products. - They tell you to sell products (aeration & seed, lime, pest control) like it would cure cancer. They think anything can be fixed with simple things, and customers end up getting screwed. - Wrap-Up script is poorly written and required to be read VERBATUM! - Managers don't care about employees or customers. - UNBELIEVABLY HIGH TURNOVER. Over 90% annual turnover. - Too many people put in fake sales. They are so disorganized that bad employees take advantage of the system (anything you sell this week M-S is paid 6 days later on Friday) and they don't check sales unless they get a complaint. So now, dishonest people put in tons of fake sales, rack up big commissions, quit (or get fired) and the honest employees are left dealing with the reprocussions.
