Hello and thanks for your feedback. It sounds like you have several concerns with your role. We encourage you to share those with your leadership team so feedback can be addressed timely. While all companies experience turnover, our turnover rate is reasonable and we work to ensure regular feedback is shared with employees so they know where they stand. In addition, our sales roles are metric driven so performance and progress is transparent. With shared feedback and dialogue, we're confident your experience will improve.

Pros

Decently collaborative environment. Artificial deadlines aren’t too overly aggressive most of the time. Benefits are “meh” but not the worst I’ve seen. Pay is low to mid range for comparable in your geography aside from the those positions at the tip top.

Cons

Not much of a culture to speak of. It’s a fully remote workforce with zero in-person events depending on your team. A handful of zoom get-togethers that felt more forced than people actually wanting to build camaraderie. The company is really struggling given the macro and top-down choices/direction chosen by management for the company (can only be the excuse for so long), and benefits/workforce/available tools have been impacted. Trying to build the “Amazon of car buying” but buy-in feels lukewarm.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! We are happy to hear that you were pleased with our collaborative culture during your tenure with us. We agree… Our business model has experienced required change as the automotive industry evolves. Led by our new CEO, new functional leaders, and an upcoming mission, vision, and values launch later this year, we are excited about the road ahead here at TrueCar.
