      Pros

      Trupanion has a staff of motivated and passionate employees, and it's inspiring to be a part of that. Managers are open to new ideas. The company is growing extremely fast so there is a lot of opportunity for growth and learning.

      Cons

      The pay at Trupanion is awful, way less than market value for equivalent roles at other companies. There are also a lot of growing pains as people have mentioned, but I do think managers are doing a better job of handling those pains now. Salaried employees are often expected to work way more than 40 hours per week. The current building does not make me feel safe.

      Love the people but awful pay

      Pros

      Bringing dog to work, great coworkers, fast growing company, and you get to go home knowing that the company you work for is really doing amazing work to help pets.

      Cons

      Again, awful pay. Not very organized. Trupanion grew so fast that there were definitely growing pains.

      Pros

      Working in the field can be lonely, and challenging. I've been with Trupanion less than a year and they have been very supportive throughout. There's a lot of transparency with the company, so we have a good idea on what direction the company is going. A great bunch of people who just want to help pets.

      Cons

      This is only a con right now as it is still developing, however some information tends to get to us in the field a little on the late side. This has been noted and is improving though, so even though it's a con, I want to express how well management is already taking that into consideration and fixing the problem.
