Pros

This is an excellent place to work for new attorneys. I grew tremendously during my time there. I received excellent mentorship from the attorneys at the office - they were patient, helpful, and always available to guide me. I was treated extremely well, given numerous opportunities to grow, my own caseload, and entrusted with significant responsibilities. For people looking to work here, expect top-notch mentorship, opportunities to develop professionally, and significant amounts of responsibility. You will become a better attorney and strengthen your professional confidence here. I'm genuinely thankful for the opportunities and mentorship I received there. The only reason I left was to be back with my family on Long Island. Other than that, I loved everything about working there: the firm, the people, the culture, and the way everything was organized and set up.

Cons

This isn't really a con per se, but before you run to your supervising attorney with a question, you should at least do your research and try to find the answer on your own. And if you're dealing with a problem during your assignment and need guidance, try to propose a well-informed solution to your supervisor instead of going to them empty-handed. It's good practice and will make you better.

Pros

-Growing quickly into new markets. -Good benefits. -Some flexible work policies, if you manager allows it. -Some of the people there, including attorneys, are genuinely great people trying their best to make the firm better.

Cons

-Constant turnover, even at the upper management level, and there doesn't seem to be any introspection being done by the executives to fix it. -No company culture, there are no events at the firm to bring the office together. There was at one point a company holiday party but they ended that and now "donate" what they would have spent. Speaking of which, the company pushes donating money constantly but never provide events where their employees can volunteer. -They pay as little as possible and will make you sign an employment agreement that will be used to threaten you if you try to leave. -Support staff for attorneys get over worked and as a result make everyone else miserable. -Several of the attorneys are inexcusably rude to support staff for no other reason than they enjoy being horrible. -Departments are grossly understaffed and underfunded but still held to impossible standards.
