You will get good experience because even though they say they will train and mentor you, basically everyone is so overwhelmed with work that you are left to figure it out for yourself. You will also be expected to work so much with the 38 hr/week billable requirement that you will quickly be managing your own cases.

Cons

Don't take the word of the many shining reviews that were probably provided during the honeymoon period before folks inevitably realized they were in a toxic work environment reminiscent of a relationship with a narcissistic domestic abuser. If you really want to see the business model of this firm just Google Tully Rinckey "ethical violations" and read the 24 pg DC Bar complaint decision.

Pros

Unlike any firm I have previously worked for, and that is a good thing. There is a very fast paced environment and culture that rewards hard work, and the firm is committed to providing a work environment that fosters growth and advancement. Excellent training is provided, and there is a strong and dedicated team in place.

Cons

Could be a little more done on the morale side.
