Pros

The attorneys split off from the support staff on January 1, 2020. The support staff now work for Tully Rinckey Service Corp. a lot of the reviews appear to be written by support staff and work for the law firms call center which has higher turnover because they are the least paid people in the business. As an attorney I have enjoyed working here. The firm has a strict billable hour policy for attorneys of at least 38 per week but pay for CLEs, 10 paid holidays, and have a tele work program for single parents who are attorneys. The CEO changed on Jan 1 2020 to Mike Macomber from Matthew Tully.

Cons

It’s an international law firm so it’s hard to sometimes get noticed when they have nearly 100 attorneys and an equal number of support staff

Pros

There is nothing good to say

Cons

Terrible leadership, secret bonus structure, sink or swim mentality with little to no support or training, no respect for employees. Was actively told not to work on cases if the retainer was low.

Pros

This is an excellent place to work for new attorneys. I grew tremendously during my time there. I received excellent mentorship from the attorneys at the office - they were patient, helpful, and always available to guide me. I was treated extremely well, given numerous opportunities to grow, my own caseload, and entrusted with significant responsibilities. For people looking to work here, expect top-notch mentorship, opportunities to develop professionally, and significant amounts of responsibility. You will become a better attorney and strengthen your professional confidence here. I'm genuinely thankful for the opportunities and mentorship I received there. The only reason I left was to be back with my family on Long Island. Other than that, I loved everything about working there: the firm, the people, the culture, and the way everything was organized and set up.

Cons

This isn't really a con per se, but before you run to your supervising attorney with a question, you should at least do your research and try to find the answer on your own. And if you're dealing with a problem during your assignment and need guidance, try to propose a well-informed solution to your supervisor instead of going to them empty-handed. It's good practice and will make you better.
