Pros

The only decent thing offered was free dental and vision coverage along with a basic insurance plan.

Cons

Evenings and weekends were treated as mandatory, not exceptions. Employees constantly looked worn out, crushed by lack of sleep, no real rest, and relentless stress. What management dares to call a competitive salary is a complete insult—$50,000 a year for working more than 40 hours every week, including evenings and weekends, is exploitation at its worst.

Pros

I found Tully Rinckey to be extremely supportive when it comes to allowing attorneys to work at a location that they prefer. Due to some personal reasons with regard to my family, it was tough for me to leave New York City and to move to Upstate New York. Upon communicating this question to my Managing Partner, I was offered the opportunity to relocate to a new office. Now I am able to live closer to my family and the firm allows me flexibility as long as I hit my hours.

Cons

Not all law firms are perfect, however Tully Rinckey has enabled me to focus on myself and my family whereas at other firms I was unable to do so. There is a requirement to meet expectations and tenure requirements for flexibility in the workplace but those who work hard are rewarded and recognized.

Pros

Tully Rinckey promotes a culture of equity, growth, and transparency. As someone who was folding my practice into the firm over a decade ago, I was concerned about how things would unfold as I was porting all of my business into the firm that I had worked so hard to build and create from nothing out of law school. The way this firm treated me as a Partner over the years has continued to impress me. As the firm grows, the team is rewarded and provided with the tools and resources that are required to successfully run a law practice.

Cons

There is a tech driven nature of this firm, Attorneys are required to enter their own time, draft their own documents.
