Pros
I have been lucky enough to be on projects with awesome people that make me laugh and enjoy going to work. Work-life balance was nonexistent for my first 6 years but that was more my issue due to the fact I want to be on my projects to make sure things get done they way I like.
Cons
Not many perks due to the dreaded corporate ethics policy but that's where the industry has headed. that whole squeaky wheel saying is definitely true and it seems that while it matters that your ability determine your standing, your are more likely to be noticed if your direct manager is one of the in crowd.
