      Pros

      The leaders care. The pay is more than competitive. Real opportunities to develop. (It's truly ok to make a mistake and fess up about it.) My coworkers and leaders are solution oriented.

      Cons

      Slow to change. Since the company has been around for over 100 years, they know better than to jump on every new fad or trend. Unfortunately that leaves us a bit behind the times. Some days, going into the office is like going back 20 years (in terms of both attitudes and technology). Execs and senior leaders are too "in the weeds". While they're super-smart, they often weigh in on decisions that are well outside of their area of expertise. The decision making process slows down, or frankly, deteriorates all-together at this stage.

      Pros

      Lots of amazing projects. You get to work with some of the best people in the construction industry. Lots of opportunities all around the country and the world if you want to move.

      Cons

      A little bit too much brown-nosing to supervisors to get the promotions. As a younger employee, there is much room for growth, but you get caught up and so busy that you miss any of these opportunities.

      The people are great and there is a lot of camaraderie. It's a great place to work if you're just starting out in your career.

      Cons

      Salary. Since leaving I have made a lot more money.
