Pros

They tend to keep a fair amount of work and its usually rotating through the same refineries, so you tend to become very familiar with your surrounding work areas.

Cons

Turner Industries tends to under stock their Tool Trailer on the job site and lean more toward the craftsmen they hire bringing all their own tools. In ways that is a good practice however personal tools tend to get stolen and then if you are short your personal tool and the Company itself doesn't have enough of those tools on hand at the job site its easy to fall behind schedule.

Pros

Good work - life balance Fellow employees are a good group of people. You are treated pretty good and people are easy to work with. Big on promoting from within.

Cons

Majority of managers and people have been here for 20+ yrs in the same position. Very set in their ways. Super conservative. Lack of training younger men and women will be the demise of this company. When the CEO leaves, its over with! If you know someone in the right division you will be okay, if not, good luck! The different divisions are always at war with each other. No team work at all! Pay scale is below average vs.other companies. Raises and job reviews are talked about but NEVER followed through with.

Pros

Easy to advance IF YOU'RE FAMILY

Cons

The process required to hire on to a job is horrible. I literally get physically sick just thinking about having to go through their personnel office. The people there do not care about you, just their hours, they are slow, they are not organized, and make it a duty to make your hiring take as long as possible. Once hired on and at the job site, you will notice it is very "family oriented" as in, the management people are either kin or long time friends. No bonuses AT ALL, for ANYTHING. We once finished a job 2 weeks early and all we were rewarded with was a 2 week early lay off, NO BONUS. They mess up your paycheck constantly and it takes constant nagging to finally get it right. They must have teams who's job it is to figure out how to rob people of their per-diem.
