Pros

Pay is better than competition. And they have a nice bonus policy. I worked for another local company and was a substitute teacher in TUSD (dreadful) and found Tutor Doctor had more to offer their tutors: They have flexible hours and let me choose to accept a client or not. If I want more hours they try to accommodate me.-They match tutors with students like computer dating but one of the owners ultimately makes the choice. They keep me in a close proximity to students so I don't have to drive far.

Cons

Isn't good if you want a 40 hour job but it helps pay my bills while I am working on my masters at U of A.

Pros

Complete flexibility in your hours by coordinating with the students family. Freedom to design lesson plans and homework.

Cons

Having to drive to students home can be time consuming and costly. Low weekly hours depending on your number of students. A few too many session reports to fill out after each lesson.
