Pros

Good benefit package and PTO

Cons

HR doesn't care about employees. The upper manager was terrorizing and targeting people. She told us in the huddle that she has 12 open HR cases against her, and nothing happened to her. People were targeted and discriminated and nobody from HR did something.

Pros

The ONLY upside to this is that it is remote

Cons

Everything about this company (their systems, processes, hardware, etc.) is a joke! The customers hate this place as much as many of the employees. I am not understanding how they are still in business. It takes an act of Congress to get any assistance IF you ever get it. All they care about is having people "taking calls", the training is so rushed through and they throw you out to the wolves knowing that people do not fully comprehend any of the boatloads of info they've shoved down your throat, just "take calls"! Nobody is on the same page with anything, they flip-flop things consistently and you never get the memo until you're on the phone with a customer cursing you out 50 ways from Tuesday! The worst job I've ever had and I've had the displeasure of working for a couple of companies that were absolutely horrible but this one takes the cake!

Layoffs and upper management

Pros

Good small business products with reasonable pricing.

Cons

-The bank does mass layoffs every 2-3 years and completely restructures upper management. -They recently hired a California business banking executive who has been going to various markets telling staff that existing employees do not qualify for their jobs based off his personal hiring standards. -The health benefits are the worst I have seen in banking. My annual premium for my family was about 13k. -They are very behind in technology compared to banks of similar size. By the time they catch up years later, other banks have already moved on to more advanced options. -Sales compensation is very minimal compared to almost every bank. -There is a lack of diversity in upper management. Executives are all one race and tend to only place their own friends in positions of power.
