Pros

There used to be many pros. Not so much anymore.

Cons

The CEO told us on an all company call that we were selfish for wanting a raise, while she’s making millions. The employees ask “nonsense” questions (even though we are encouraged to speak up and ask). When someone asked about the low employee morale she told us the morale is great and maybe we should “make a friend” if we feel otherwise. She literally laughed at our faces and her management team laughed with her. How is this okay?

Pros

The pay is the best and only thing good about the company.

Cons

Training not good or long enough and did not prepare you for the job. One manager I had was very smart but was not there to help and support like some of my co-workers managers. Next manager I had he was there for assistance and support but I knew more than he did. I can definitely say working there was one of the most stressful jobs I have ever had. You get graded on your calls and the same information would be graded different. One person will mark it ok and another will grade it not ok. No consistency. No matter what you do it is wrong even if its right. You are never right. Several of my co-workers had better managers than I did. But the bad ones out numbered the good ones by far. There are a few more things that I have not mentioned that were not good. To say the least my overall experience was not good. Had my managers been better my job would have been better. US Bank failed me. I didn't fail them. I couldn't take it any more and so I decided just to put in my notice and leave. It was their loss not mine.

Pros

Paid holidays off but that's standard for the industry.

Cons

From the start there is a serious lack of training and communication. Promises made but not kept is a theme here. Anything said they will do or offer, get it in writing. Management is horrible, they have no interest in actually managing or training staff, they are only interested in themselves. The politics and boys club atmosphere makes for a terrible work environment. Harassment as well as unethical and unprofessional behavior was sadly an every day occurrence towards employees and customers. I will forever be shocked when management pushed for selling credit cards to widowed seniors because "what do they need their credit for" and "they won't remember that they signed up for it". HR is absolutely useless. If you report anything to them in order to do the right thing be prepared for defamation and start looking for a new job. Pay is low for industry. Paid holidays off is a nice perk but don't expect much pto beyond that and there are black out dates and weeks to further limit time off. I could keep going... By far the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of working for.
