Pros

Great pay and benefits. It is an excellent career with a lot of opportunities. Do your job, take advantage of training and you'll be rewarded.

Cons

Not good for a family life. It is hard to relocate closer to family, that's the reason of some agents leaving the agency or switching to other components within DHS.
