Pros

There is job security if you consider it just a job and not career. People are nice to your face.

Cons

Everything else. If you are a developer stay away! There is no innovation or vision. You watch your talents waste away. Trust me. Management does not care about employee morale. No diversity. It's only white and indian men in management. No one is trying to fix it.

A great example of how not to grow a start-up

Pros

Competitive salary, excellent 401k match. Fast paced and intellectually challenging environment when you are able to hide from the army of project managers harassing you for status

Cons

The company has not scaled well. Many bad and unnecessary hires have been added to the organization. Management has zero focus and accountability around culture. A few select individuals carry the project on their shoulders while others take the credit. A recent employee survey was widely known to be very poor however no results were shared with the associate base. Top performers are not valued and are leaving the organization left and right. Large bonuses were given to executives for hitting Release 1 delivery dates at the expense of bonuses to those who actually performed the work. Most of the people who actually know how the application works are planning their exit.

Pros

-Close to Bethesda Metro Station. -Has a potential to last for some time

Cons

- Sweatshop like office environment. Developers are hoarded into huge rooms 50 - 70 people behind long tables. Overflowing bathrooms. - Mostly contract workforce, about 70% Indians - Dev env. via Citrix , slow and laggy - Old technologies, Java circa 2008 - Top down tasking and control, schedule commitments - Top heavy, the devs are at the bottom of food chain - Maint. and bug fixes at this point. stay away if you value your career.
