Pros

This is a good company. They care about their flight instructors. If I need days off or more flights put on my schedule, they do the best they can to help accommodate my needs. They definitely see value in their flight instructors. Here, im not just number.

Cons

The fleet is a little older but we have an excellent maintenance program. We are working to update our fleet to glass g500s.

Pros

Extremely structured standardization course Ongoing Fleet Renewal. USAA is completely refurbishing aircraft. Efficient fleet utilization, and if an aircraft is downed one is typically available. If I have any questions, the chief pilot's door is open, it's a non threatening environment.

Cons

May have to repeatedly call the fuelers for the aircraft. At one campus USAA is using one fuel truck for 30plus aircraft. Aircraft use tailnumbers instead of callsigns, which can be wordy every now and then
