Pros

this was for the decennial census so it came to an end. It did give you a tast of government work.

Cons

since it was short term, they would hire but not fired anyone. One of the managers in particilar had real anger issues and no one did anything about it. It was fine for him to yell at people. What a joke,

Pros

flexible work schedule. Mostly stress free

Cons

too much office politics. Job openings are geared toward individual and not based on ability.

Pros

Working at the Census Bureau will open your eyes to things like how to deal with people and America's approach to human rights.

Cons

Occasionally you may encounter an individual that is not exactly excited to speak with you all. This shouldn't be a major surprise.
