Pros

Great benefits, great pay, good culture.

Cons

Can be stressful if you are in the wrong department. Call center was busy all the time and it is difficult to see movement to other areas of the company. I was employed with USAA for 7 years and submitted numerous applications to other areas. I only received about 3 interviews and I never was able to get a different position.

Pros

Excellent company with a genuine focus on serving its members the right way. USAA will always choose the best, most ethical approach in dealing with its membership. It truly lives its motto of "We know what it means to serve." It also is committed to being a technology leader in its field.

Cons

Sometimes rigid management; employees can become too overly engrossed in USAA matters at the expense of "having a life outside of USAA."

Pros

The benefits are good and they empower their employees to always learn more and improve their net worth.

Cons

The work load can get pretty intense and the window for promotions can be very small with the large amount of employees within the company.
