Pros

The office environment was good. Pay is competitive and a yearly bonus is nice. Benefits are ok but could be better. Advancement is pretty regular and cross-training is a possibility.

Cons

Its a team-based workplace and your experience could be good or bad depending on your manager. In claims, we own our own files but we are in an inbound call center so you never get to actually deal with your own claims as you are constantly answering the phone for everyone. It also seems that up-selling has become more and more of a priority. And like every call center, your time is monitored to the minute.

Helping out the military and their families securing their financial security. Good pay and benefits. Annual bonus always good.

Cons

Constant change. Worked in P&C also cross trained in bank products, mortgages. Most call are service calls. Premium increases and billing, billing, billing.

Pros

Great benefits, great purpose and a Executive Management team that really cares about employees.

Cons

IT technical track (non-management) career progression limited due since employees tend to stay around for the long haul and there are only so many positions to advance to.
