They should rename NOC engineer title to Service Desk technician

Not really any big positives. It pays money.

Cons

There are never enough people per shift to take proper days off. NOC is strangely managed to the point of disfunction. The job description said there was troubleshooting when in reality there is none and "level 1" triage isn't really a thing because they have no access to any systems. Also, this one is minor but the shifts are oddly named. The swing shift is from 3PM to 11PM and Mid is from 11PM to 7AM.
