working extra hours past what was agreed; unclear guidelines and unattainable work expectations; unhappy medical staff members; overbooked schedule + limited number of mental health clinicians = unhappy patients; superficial support from management and HR; many disorganized changes and implementations within the hospital; high turnover in many areas (nursing, registration, patient services, physicians); emphasis is on billing and bringing in a profit given the hospital's debt; no value on patient care - patients have a long waiting time to see anyone at this facility; don't expect anyone above your position to ever take responsibility for errors that they make; high parking garage costs that are absurd; blatant racism and discrimination by medical staff (staff says he is not a racist or homophobic and then makes crude jokes or rude toward his patients)

Changes in C-suite and HR stuff in recent years have changed the culture.. Used to be good place to work, don't care about employees any more. Long hours, gotcha culture, finger pointing and blame from arrogant senior leaders who create barriers for those doing the work. Has turned into bad place to work which is sad as the mission is meaningful and good. Shortstaffed everywhere, Lip service to caring about employees. Huge bureaucracy, very political-leaders throw each other and employees under the bus. Managers are constantly in meetings and working long hours-hard to support employees
