First off, congratulations on your new career with UniFirst! We are happy to welcome you to the UniFirst Family! We are glad that the Pittsburgh Team is making you feel like you are a part of the team and that you are happy with all of our incentives and benefits! We know that there’s a lot of new information to learn at the start of any new career and we are excited to hear how you are embracing the process! In fact, we often joke that it’s a lot like drinking from a fire hose. You’re right that some of the technical “how to” topics need to be taught at the local level. If you believe that your Location needs to buff up on their in-office training we encourage you to be the voice for improvement! In our quest for continuous improvement, our Management Teams have an Open Door Policy, and should be receptive to hearing feedback and listening to new ideas. We have also put in place a suggestion program that rewards employees if their idea(s) are implemented at their Locations!
