Most of the schools treat their subs very well, including PTO/PTA members. Administrators at some schools know most student names and work with the teachers instead of only working for the parents. Some administrators will even check in with subs to make sure the sub knows there is support in the building that cares and is aware that a teacher is gone.

Cons

Some administrators work more for the parents or to build their resume. Talk to teachers at the school you apply to.

wonderful community involvement to keep schools operating in a modern time. Lots of donations made to the schools for community/global awareness programs.

Cons

some schools are slighted - the older schools.
