Pros

Good Benefits, room to advance, generous emergency leave time, cares about employees safety, compassion fund

Cons

Takes advantage of employees, makes college interns perform duties that are not part of the internship, does not promote from within, does not care about life away from work, long hours, underpay employees not in management or sales, little acknowledgement from management, toxic work environment, outside all day, management nitpicks everything, outside sales do not pull their share of the workload, usually understaffed, nonethical business practices, no bonuses for hourly employees while management and sales get bonuses, gives the lowest paid people majority of the work, everything is a rush, when on call you can be called out anytime of the day, management does not hold up to their promises, threats to fire people over little mistakes, no incentives for hourly employees. Not a good place to work if you are not in management or sales. You will be asked to do duties that are not in your job title with no additional pay or acknowledgement from management. If you are a tech, driver, or EA you will be treated as the bottom of the barrel. Inside sales also have a lot of pressure on them from management. They would rather quantity over quality. They care more about the customer than employee.

Pros

Great compensation and focus on safety. Industry leader is safety and technology. There is a the opportunity for advancement in a number of fields and also the company invest in being a industry leader. Company Car and high salary plus bonus.

Cons

Too much of a "good ol boy" culture. Company makes attempts to become diversified but it is truly a lacking point. Union labor tends to be negative and older managements will cater to them in fear of retaliation sometimes. Often felt like an outsider where a few documented race based incidents reported to HR along with claims of ageism. Always felt like i was being watched by middle management and older labor who told me themselves that where moved to my location to watch over development. Hiring additional labor always seemed to move slow and it was frowned upon to look outside out district for help or resources. If you did the possibility of being scolded was real. High stress constant environment seems to wear everyone thin from the top down and it always trickles.
