Pros

PTO, telecommute (note-can also be listed as CONS because while you have decent PTO, you have little to no coverage while you are off...meaning you come back to double the work. Telecommute-also really a CON because this simply gives them a reason to expect you to work 12-14hr days.

Cons

No work/life balance, horrible insurance, unmanageable workloads, no raises or bonuses.

Pros

The people you work with become friends

Cons

Training is rushed and not spend on the tools you need once you hit the phones. Direct Management hands are tied and do not know the job their C/S reps perform. No tools to help you once you get on the phones and the resources they give you are never there to help. Vacations request denied often & and hard to get time off for Doctors appointments - So what good is insurance if you cant use it For a health Care Company the health Benefits are not good. Pay is low Sad as you really want to help those who call in, but if you are not taught the answers or given recourses to find the information, you cant give correct information out. - Hurst employee moral and upset UHC customers.

Pros

Co-workers are good people Large personal workspace Holidays off

Cons

Insufficient pay for the amount of work you are expected to do No PTO is ever available, and they will not work with you on days you need off for personal or medical reasons even if you ask weeks in advance Little to no coaching or guidance, let alone encouragement Training is inadequate and poorly organized Supervisors have clear favorites that get more opportunities and time off the phone Insurance benefits are not that great
