Pros

Fast paced, innovative company in a rapidly changing market. The product is really solid and the new leadership team is now firing on all cylinders. The opporutunity to really make a difference is significant. The company has gone through some significant changes, as have many over vendors in the backup products market, but the company is now stronger than it was prior to the changes.

Cons

The company is very data and performance driven. If you like to work in a place where you will be held accountable, this is the place for you. If that scares you, then you will not succeed here.

Pros

Unitrends has a casual, but professional and team-oriented work environment. We all work together to make the company succeed and they offer great benefits and perks in return. Often times we will have catered meals brought in and have regular happy hour with coworkers. Unitrends also promotes hiring from within which gives employees the opportunity to advance their careers.

Cons

Unitrends offers a 401k program, but only matches up to $2k. It would be nice if they matched a percentage of your contribution.

Pros

Very different company (mainly in leadership) than in 2015/early 2016 with a flat org structure where anyone's (great) ideas can help influence high level decisions. If you work hard and take initiative, it WILL get noticed- promotions can happen when you make them happen, not with a standardized formal review every 1-2 years. The team environment is amazing- there's a tremendous sense of ownership across the company, which makes people want to work hard, not dissimilar to a startup.

Cons

The stress level can be high at times.
