Wonderful staff, Well appointed and clean facility, excellent work--great opportunity to experience mental health service provision with variety of patients and a variety of issues. Demands clinical versatility and working with patients is generally very satisfying

Cons

"census rules all". Many times it felt as if staff were pawns who, when their use had expired, or money could be saved through send homes, RIF, or exaggerated violations, would be dismissed or relieved of duty. The overall atmosphere was very focused on the hospital's financial health rather than the patients'

Cons

Absolutely no loyalty to long term employees. Certifications are not recognized. Management says they are not a teaching hospital to take on new grads but take on students through out the hops.
