Pros

Coworkers - misery loves company! Employees and managers are generally nice and well-meaning Snacks It’s a job, and it pays money There are benefits Some help toward transportation costs New office has gym and locker room

Cons

CEO is an EXTREME micromanager who is not shy about intercepting your emails Cameras everywhere and glass walls so management can see what you are doing at all times Although the employees WANT to do a good job, constant understaffing and high turnover make it difficult CEO seems to keep the count under 50 to avoid offering any of those required benefits including adequate base pay, and FMLA. Pregnant employees go on leave and never return.

Pros

Good location in downtown Bellevue. Some of the people are actually very nice.

Cons

This company does not value people. Each person is disposable, so they don't have to worry about caring for them that much. There is a high turnover rate. In some departments, most of the people have been there for less than six months. This means there is a constant mill of new people being used and burned up. ULS holds people to comically high standards given the pay rate and the positions they have. This place micromanages to the max, and expects everyone to be highly professional at all times. For instance, if the office is too cold (as it frequently is), people cannot wear their coats at their desks as it is "unprofessional". Or, in the instances of holidays, they ban most celebration. (On Halloween, there were no costumes or decorations allowed. People who did wear minor costume elements were told to remove them as soon as they walked in the door.) There is also almost no sense of community or culture. Get used to not knowing most of the faces you are seeing - and that isn't just because of the turnover. People rarely get to interact between the departments.
