Pros

2nd floor break room has an arcade room and free soft drinks in all break rooms.

Cons

All that matters to IT Management is how to cut cost. Proper over sight on projects does not matter anymore as long as costs are driven down. This is causing different IT teams to wash their hands of projects and say "not my job".

Pros

Great health care, work facilities are very nice. Tons of free music. Depending on department, flexible hours. No formal dress code.

Cons

Pay is terrible and non-existent promotions. Now where you work in this company is very vital to your experience. The Woodland Hills location is operated like a cold bank, the only saving grace is the lunch room/arcade combo. People are not very social, management is completely out of touch with the climate of "today's" music business. As a whole the company is completely out of touch with technology and are very behind. I've worked for some pretty big corporations and this is by far the slowest moving and least innovative. UMG is still trying to adapt an aging business model molded after physical product. In short it's a sinking ship with a lot of patches. Understand this about the music business, they'd rather keep a head than take a pay cut. Ambition is not praised it is restricted.

Pros

Not the same place it was to work. Was friendly and engaging, became very toxic and only got worse with every leadership decision. Not ERG no company incentives, no networking, bad management. My manager literally hazed me until my health deteriorated and still made me think I wasn’t doing enough. I don’t recommend it unless the name means that much to you. You will do better and get paid more at a smaller company with less bureaucracy and useless leadership.

Cons

90% of the job is cons. Turn over is through the roof. I’m sure they are inflating their reviews with fake positive ones. They pretend to be a cool diverse professional space but it’s not that at all.
