Pros

Lots of autonomy in the states Solid pay and benefits Remote

Cons

Huge turnover this year. 24% global layoffs but lots of attrition in between the layoffs in roles that have gone unfilled. New CEO has made some really crass comments about work ethic and employees on the Denmark team… criticizing coffee breaks and work hours. Majority of people who climb and get promotions are sycophants. Just look at the segments team. No one can point to a single success but somehow they keep rising. They just laid off the barista who only worked 2 days a week… business can’t be so bad you have to lay off a part time barista, can it?

Pros

Odense HQ has great lunches. The work/life balance in Odense is quite pleasant.

Cons

Long hours for remote employees. Also, the company has a very top down feel, where most lower level employees are expected to just do what management says. Also, historically very sales driven, which often makes the tail wag the dog -- this may have changed since Kim Povlsen joined as President.

Don't work at UR unless you live in Denmark

Pros

Well known and highly regarded brand. Visiting HQ in Odense, Denmark is enjoyable, as the city is pleasant and inviting. Denmark employees have short days.

Cons

Sales driven culture makes for LONG hours and a toxic experience. Most of the non-sales/non-marketing US roles are being moved to the headquarters in Denmark.
