Lower than standard salary. Non compensated overtime required. Extremely high turnover. The longer you stay the less you are valued.

Pros

- Great hours: flexible, and no one works more than 40 hours a week - Casual attire: no shorts, but any pants and a t-shirt work just fine. Who can program in a suit? - New office space: newly renovated modern office space with foosball table, game room, etc. - Young and diverse demographic - Executives and higher-ups are very approachable - down to earth culture - Much encouragement to explore other internal opportunities

Cons

- Very few "cutting-edge" projects - many failed projects are still being kicked further down the road - Hardly any philanthropic activities - More focused on financial gain than quality products and client satisfaction - Interest in work is lacking

Pros

37 Years in Business and many smart people.

Cons

There are too many doers and not many leaders. Too many silos slowing down progress. Countless feedback from Employees and clients about poor software quality and Executives worry about having too many meetings about nothing. There is no coordination amongst offices and Practice Directors do not communicate well. Many good things are said but never followed through. Execs. love to hear themselves talk about goals but goals are given out mid year and employees laugh or just go through the motion to get it off their plate. Overworked team members since the company is worried about bottom line only and not their people or quality of product. Many of the folks that have been with Urban Science love to say...this is the way we have always done and cease to think about progressive ways to solve issues or they are simply afraid to make a mistake since leaders love to micro manage.
