      Pros

      Free food ,and a fun people to work with that all in the same boat with you. Lots to learn if you do it all on your own time

      Cons

      no work life balance, and work you into the ground with no recognition for the super hero efforts, and dedication to the company

      Politics in some organizations is unmanageable Managers that have long tenures are those that don't get involved and can deflect attention Ambitious mid-level managers implement short-term strategies that blow up once they've moved on

      Pros

      -Best product in space -Young agile workforce -EXCELLENT VMW benefits -Amazing people to work with -401k match, ESPP, free food, activities -Excellent place to start career in technology

      Cons

      -Subpar salary compared to industry -HUGE growing pains with VMW acquisition (EVERY change VMW has made has made AW slower and less efficient). Plus, VMW mgmt really doesnt understand AW's business & model. -Minefield with managers. You might work for the best manager of your life, or the worst -Holds to antiquated sales metrics and irrelevant KPIs -Constant fear of VMW gutting the sales staff (which they have already done)
