Management needs better alignment between the family of companies.

Pros

Company has a good solid foundation, very well known and has tremendous growth opportunity. Company is expanding internationally as well.

Cons

Senior management is out of touch from what goes on in the daily operation of business. Decisions are not aligned with each other, almost as if dvisions are competing against one another instead of being on the same team. Company perks are not equal throughout the family of companies.

Pros

Salaries and benefits are good. Overall, there are so many employees and they have so much money that you are not expected to work as hard as you are at other companies. Good if you don't want to put in too much but difficult if you are driven and want to move things forward.

Cons

Passive agressive behavior is demonstrated throughout leadership and trickles down. While a trust environment is preached it is not demonstrated. The industry does not like VSP. They are considered "a bully". Difficult to represent a company that does not support it's customers.

Pros

the pay and the inexpensive glasses. Awesome service they sell, excellent in the US.

Cons

none in the international space. Sr mgmt oesn't have a clue what they want; they keep poaching people (who aren’t looking for a new role) and then firing them because they change their minds on the path to take.
