Pros

VT Group’s seasoned leadership team is strategically moving the organization in a positive direction. The leadership is well-respected in the industry and the managers in-depth knowledge of the subject matter creates a strong organizational foundation. The employees are personable and willing to assist each other. They are team-oriented and work together seamlessly on behalf of the organization. One our core values is to create a culture of trust, respect, and open communications. I encourage potential employees to learn about the organization’s mission and core values. We are engineering solutions to solve the complex challenges faced by our customers.

Cons

If any problem arises, the managers handle it effectively and efficiently.

Pros

Lower level employees (aka the grunts) for the most part are a great group of people to work with. There have been a lot of promises lately that if they had even the slightest bit of truth to them, would've made it a great company, unfortunately, they just aren't happening.

Cons

Upper level management is even more out of touch with reality than the old guard that was replaced in October 2017. The newly anointed CIO is a complete moron. He is the absolute worst kind of micro manager I've experienced in my entire career. Benefits are terrible, Salaries are well below market average, and the working conditions have deteriorated to the point that there has been a mass exedous in the past few months. The company is obviously on its downward spiral and soon to either fold or be purchased. Don't let false promises of growth fool you.

VT Group’s mission is to provide full life-cycle C4ISR and Enterprise IT solutions that protect our country’s national security by setting exceptional standards of performance as a community of leaders and an employer of choice. To do this, our management team, leaders in the field, have worked to implement clear and direct communication with employees to keep them updated on the organization’s progress. In Spring 2018, VT Group’s leadership team implemented exciting new benefits that improved employee options for health insurance and the 401k program. In working with the HR team, the CEO is continually looking for ways to empower employees and make sure they have competitive compensation and quality benefits. Our CIO is providing leadership to innovate and modernize the organization’s technology to help each of us perform our work functions more efficiently. The organization is moving in the right direction to lead us into the future.
